Over 50 attendees, all of whom are researchers from Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITCs), have attended the COST Academy this September, with the first event being held earlier in the month.
COST Association stages the Academy as part of its commitment to its Excellence and Inclusiveness Policy, which aims to support and empower under-represented and young researchers to take on leadership positions within new COST Actions.
The Academy offers participants the chance to understand different leadership roles and responsibilities, as well as to build their confidence, so they feel empowered to put themselves forward for leadership positions at Management Committee meetings.
