G7 - Artwork conservation by Laser

The objectives of this  Action was to develop methods and equipment for the modern unitary concept of investigation, restoration and protection of artwork and antiquities using methods and equipment which do not damage the artwork. These activities contributed to the improvement of the equipment and methods used at reasonable cost, the analysis of the surface stability in time, and laser systems for pollution monitoring around the objects concerned. The Action ended already, more information can be requested from the Science Officer Piotr Swiatek or from the Chair Renzo Salimbieni.
