“We are convinced that Armenia’s COST Full Member status will further increase the impact of COST, further spreading excellence and improving inclusivity. Becoming a family of 41 makes COST proud to connect research talent and provide the platforms where ideas can grow and breakthrough scientific results will happen.”

Prof Alain Beretz, President of the COST Association

Armenia fulfils all the conditions to become a COST Full Member, including association with two previous EU Framework Programmes for Research and Innovation, FP7 and H2020.

“The figures are encouraging, and we sincerely hope that full membership will contribute to enlarging Armenia’s participation in COST Actions”

Mr Sargis Hayotsyan, Chairmain of the Science Committee of the Republic of Armenia

Membership of COST allows Armenian researchers and innovators to fully benefit from COST’s networking opportunities, including being the main proposer for COST Actions. Furthermore, at governance level, Armenia will now contribute to setting the strategy for shaping the future of COST.
