Almost half (45%) of the 39 network proposals cover at least two OECD fields of science and technology, while 6% cover at least three fields.
Natural sciences lead the way as the most represented field of science (41% of the Actions), followed by medical and health sciences (19%), engineering and technology (17%), agricultural sciences (7%), social sciences (14%) and humanities (3%).
The 39 successful proposals in figures:
- One in three proposal leaders is an early-career investigator
- Almost half of proposal leaders (46%) are women
- Over a third of the proposals feature participants from SMEs and industry
- 31% of all proposers work in an Inclusiveness Target Country
- Over a third of the future networks have attracted participants from all over the world (COST International Partner Countries)
