Two actions, COST B3 entitled “Development of New Radiotracers and Methods of Quality Assurance for Nuclear Medicine Applications” and COST B12 entitled “Radiotracers for In Vivo Assessment of Biological Functions”, which have been devoted to radiopharmaceutical chemistry and radiopharmaceutical validation, were successfully completed. Radiochemical methodology constitutes the most important base for successful in vivo functional imaging in nuclear medicine. For single-photon emission tomography (SPET) imaging, radio-iodination methodology allows the development of potent radiotracers, and several of them are presently in clinical routine.
Many previous publications have tackled the specific problems of radio-ionisation, but the time for a state-of-the-art book seemed right now since this field has advanced over the last 30 years to reach a level where guidelines and expert systems can be suggested for the main methodological aspects.

Sonic Interaction Design (SID) is the study and exploitation of sound as one of the principal channels conveying information, meaning, and aesthetic/emotional qualities in interactive contexts. As a research field, SID is emerging at the intersection of interaction design, sound and music computing, auditory display, sonic arts and psychoacoustics. A set of activities, in the form of workshops, training schools, and research residences have been designed and implemented to facilitate these crossings between research lines. As a result, a repertory of approaches, methods, tools and results are now available as foundational materials for a new discipline.

COST Action E30 is one of the largest COST Actions thus far under the domain on forests and forestry products. COST Action E30 has 21 participating countries. The main objective of COST Action E30 is to gain better understanding of the problems and possible solutions to forest-based entrepreneurship in small-scale forestry, wood processing, and non-wood forest products and services aiming at improved employment and income in rural areas.
